Hyundai Motor America is one of the largest automakers in the world, and has its southern region headquarters located in Austell, Georgia. The company was originally founded in 1967 as the Hyundai Motor Company. Hyundai did not enter the United States until 1986, where it initially met scrutiny by the America public, due to their car's poor reliability. However, as of 2008 Hyundai Elantra and Hyundai Santa Fe were rewarded with Consumer Reports "top pick."
