Athlete Opps: TB12 launches new campaign celebrating Tom Brady

TB12 recently honored Tom Brady and his accomplishments with a full-page ad in Sports Illustrated's issue commemorating Brady's retirement. Of course, there is also a TB12 ad in the issue, along with three digital ads that ran on socials. Sellers able to get the brand in front of male, athletic consumers should contact soon to secure last-minute ad dollars.

Tom Brady and his body coach, Alex Guerrero, built the TB12 Method, which helped him heal from an injury and has since evolved into a holistic wellness and health lifestyle.

According to Pathmatics, TB12 spent roughly $218.8k on digital ads in 2021, down 22% from the roughly $279.1k it spent in 2020. Last year, the company earned approximately 27.3m digital impressions via Facebook (45%), Instagram (41%), desktop display (12%) and mobile display (1%) ads.

Like I briefly mentioned, TB12 tends to target athletic men, so sellers able to offer high-ROI strategies among this audience will have an upper hand securing ad dollars. Hopefully spend will pick back up with this new campaign.

Agency & martech readers - I see no major reasons for TB12 to conduct agency reviews anytime soon, but keep the company on your radar for project-based work. The company has still not found a CMO after Tara McRae left a year ago, so we'll keep you updated on that front.
