RR's most recent funding round was a Series C round in March 2020 in which the company raised $28.6 million from e.ventures and Greycroft, according to Crunchbase; this raised RR's total valuation to $49.1 million.

The company's target demographic consist of businesses in need of waste and recycling solutions; its waste reduction goal will appeal to environmentally friendly Gen-Z and millennial business leaders. Its spend will likely stay low for now since most businesses have either shut down operations or let their employees work from home. RR's blog detailed that the global pandemic has resulted in significant decreases in waste and recycling volumes in many industries; however, hospitals, healthcare facilities and residential real estate facilities have had significantly more volume in this area.
