B2B Opps: Lunchbox taps PR AOR after naming first marketing chief, seed funding round (Score 76)

North 6th its PR AOR to assist with corporate communications, external media and marketing initiatives. The agency's first priority will be to drive competitive awareness and capital raise goals. N6A's Outcome Relations model reportedly includes earned media, amplification and KPI alignment.

This shift closely follows Lunchbox's appointment of marketing chief David "Rev" Ciancio in April 2020. Ciancio also seems to currently work as LuckyDiem'a growth chief and Branded Strategic Hospitality's revenue marketing head. Lunchbox CEO Nabeel Alamgir co-founded the company in November 2019; he formerly served as CMO Bareburger Group, which he originally joined in 2012 as a busboy. 

In December 2019, Lunchbox landed a seed funding round of $2.1m.

The company offers an all-in-one restaurant ordering service complete with delivery and in-store solutions such as web and app ordering, self-order kiosks, phone-to-table, flexible loyalty programs and catering systems. Lunchbox is integrated with widely used restaurant point-of-sale systems, payment processing, dada and analytics and social platforms such as Toast, Brink, Revel, Facebook, Google, Square and Stripe. It eliminates the need for third-party delivery services such as GrubHub, Uber Eats, Postmates, etc.
