Build-your-own salad chain Chopt has named Julie Atkinson its CMO, effective October. Previously the global digital and e-Commerce SVP at Tory Burch, Atkinson brings additional digital marketing expertise from roles at Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Travelocity.
During her tenure at Tory Burch, the company's digital display ad spend stayed pretty flat, per Adbeat; we expect her leadership will see investments in this channel for Chopt, as well.
Chopt has been testing various new products in Charlotte markets. It recently teamed up with Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation to reach more consumers.
