Female Gen-Z Media Opps: Eos launches new campaign for the summer
Mischief, "Shaving Skincare for Anyone & Anywhere" is another effort to promote Eos's broad variety of products rather than focusing solely on its lip balms. The campaign includes OOH, digital and social elements, along with an ASMR video. Eos is also working with influencer sponsors who will support the initiative on their own social media platforms. Sellers should get in touch sooner rather than later to secure last-minute ad dollars.
Per Pathmatics, Eos has allocated roughly $1.3m toward digital ads YTD, less than half of the roughly $2.8m spent by this point last year. The company's estimated full-year 2021 spend rose 68% to $5.2m from that of $3.1m in 2020. So far this year, Eos has earned around 120.3m digital impressions via desktop video/YouTube (50%), Instagram (35%) and Facebook (16%) ads.
Eos typically targets female Gen-Z. While this new campaign focuses on how everyone has body hair they might want to remove, suggesting it's starting to target other genders as well, the ads still seem geared toward women. Contact sooner rather than later to offer high-ROI digital channels among Gen-Z, readers. Spend will hopefully pick back up in support of this new initiative.
