Q4 Media Opps: Footwear manufacturer Kamik taps PR AOR
Affordable weather footwear manufacturer Kamik has just appointed Litzky Public Relations (LPR), which specializes in consumer and lifestyle brands, as its global PR AOR. The agency will lead proactive public relations efforts in North America and facilitate global communications. “Our appointment reflects the role LPR has played in supporting Kamik’s growth in the U.S. market for the past five years,” said Michele Litzky, CEO of LPR. “As Kamik identified its global growth potential, we were asked to bring our shared successes worldwide in the role of global AOR. We are honored and excited to expand our partnership.” Kamik has been gaining snow-stopping popularity from publicity by Meghan Markle.
The company hasn't yet allocated budget towards national TV advertising, and while Pathmatics doesn't report any digital activity yet this year, 2017's ads weren't placed until November for the winter rush. Last year's total spend of $210,600 consisted of ads placed direct on youtube.com and various YouTube channels, and it dropped a bit from $212,400 in 2016.
