Campaign Imminent: Winix taps creative AOR, significantly increases spend


Air purifier e-retailer 50,000 Feet as its creative agency partner to support its US expansion. The agency will focus on developing a campaign to "sustain and broaden" the recent momentum that Winix has experienced. The upcoming campaign will roll out soon across programmatic display, programmatic video, paid social and connected TV such as Hulu, YouTube TV and Sling TV. It will continue airing throughout the rest of 2021. Supporting the ad's video, 50,000 Feet also made photography for social media and digital applications.

Winix's sales reportedly surged last year, largely due to the pandemic and CA wildfires.

So far this year, Pathmatics reports the company has spent roughly $178.6k on digital ads, already more than double the roughly $72.2k it spent in all of 2020. Winix's estimated full-year spend of 2020 ($72.2k) only dropped by 4% from that of $74.9k in 2019. It has earned around 26.7m digital impressions YTD via Facebook (43%), Instagram (31%), desktop display (18%), desktop video (5%) and mobile display (2%) ads.

Right now, Winix is targeting Gen-Z and millennials, especially parents. Remember, upcoming work will include programmatic display, programmatic video, paid social and connected TV media.
