Travel Opps: Visit Florida gears up for Summer 2021 after coronavirus halts 2020 travelers (Score 62)

With summer 2020 being effectively canceled due to coronavirus, 2021 and preparing its marketing strategy. VF suffered from the single largest drop in visitors since 9/11. Q1 2020 visitation dropped nearly 11% compared to Q1 2019; however, VF is expecting a surge in 2021 recently approving a $108m budget, $42m of which will be allocated to marketing. According to Adbeat's estimates, out of the $3m the organization spent on digital display ads since June 2018, it only spent around 4% ($113.2k) in this channel since June 2019.
