Campaign Imminent: Binske Cannabis taps full-service AOR


RBB Communications its AOR to develop and implement strategic campaigns focused on building brand awareness and engagement. The agency will also refine and unify Binske's social assets via contend development, enhanced design and experiential connections. According to EVP Alex Pasternack, RBB's remit will include creative, strategy, social, media and PR.

Additionally, Binske's parent company, Praetorian Global, collaborated recently with Aurora Cannabis, enabling the private cannabis company to expand to international markets. Aurora will now license Binske intellectual property as Aurora enters Canada's edibles markets.

Adbeat estimates the only time within the past two years that Binske has utilized digital display was in May 2020, when it allocated $31 toward a programmatic ad targeting people in Pittsburgh; it was placed via AppNexus onto westword.com. We certainly expect to see the brand return to this channel with upcoming ad work.

Binske reportedly serves over 83m consumers in North America, across 12 US states and Canada. Sellers would benefit from offering localized ad space around the areas in which Binske operates stores; these include NV, CA, CO and FL (more here). Cannabis products are popular among a wide audience ranging from Gen-Z and Gen-X, so we will let you know once we learn more details about Binske's target demographic.
