Campaign Imminent: Alkaline Water plans first traditional marketing campaign with new creative AOR (Score 56)

According to execs in its recent earnings call, just a month, will help develop and manage the marketing program. The campaign will initially roll out in unspecified test markets before expanding nationally via TV, radio, billboards, social media and online ads. Alkaline is also establishing celebrity brand ambassador partners.

Execs specified that any strategy they develop will include an "aggressive" social media marketing strategy, consisting of extensive digital footprints via Google ads, social media ads, influences organic Google branding, programmatic and display marketing and email campaigns.

Along with its eCommerce channels, the company is building its brick-and-mortar presence in stores in CA, AZ, TX and the rest of the East Coast; it is working on expanding in to the Northeast. Alkaline's execs plan to reach around 25k convenience stores nationwide within the next 12 months.

Adbeat estimates the only time within the past 12 months that the company has utilized digital display was in April, when a mere $4 went toward native ads placed via TripleLift onto Before that point, it had allocated $817 toward this channel in August 2018.

Despite this low amount of spend, we will soon see Alkaline more heavily utilize TV, radio, billboards, social media and online ads; for now, it is focused on localized advertising around the East, Southwest and Northeast, so we tagged these markets to this article.
