Consumer Reports named NG one of the cleanest grocery stores in America; its responses to the global pandemic included adjusting its store hours, allocating specific shopping hours for seniors and those at health risks, providing home delivery, updating its return policy, canceling its in-store nutrition education classes, recipe demos and health coaching sessions, rescheduling its new store openings, enhancing its cleaning and sanitizing procedures, offering gloves, face masks and hand sanitizer, installing plexiglass shields at registers, adding social distancing marks to store floors and limiting the amount of customers allowed in stores.
