The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO) is a professional orchestra known for its creative and engaging music. ASO is comprised of the orchestra, choir and youth orchestra. ASO plays over 200 concerts a year as part of a series, a family event, a free park concert or an outreach concert in school and community centers. In addition to live performances, ASO records its own video and audio performances. The majority of ASO’s funding comes from donations, The City of Atlanta Bureau of Cultural Affairs and the Fulton County Board of Commissioners.
