Sonendo taps PR shop to raise awareness for GentleWave (Score 20)

Sonendo recently appointed Crowe PR as its AOR. The agency will manage strategic communication, thought leadership, messaging and media relations. It will also be responsible for helping the company build brand awareness among endodontists and consumers. Sonendo is a dental technology company best known for its GentleWave System. 

According to Pathmatics, Sonendo earned 158.8k impressions YTD through Facebook ads. It placed 100% of these ads directly onto facebook.com. It spent about $1.2k on digital display ads YTD, a big drop from $13.6k spent in this channel during the same time period of 2021. Full-year spend jumped from $6.7k in 2020 to $17.1k in 2021. 

Sellers-- While the company's products are only available for commercial use, it is also trying to build brand awareness among consumers. Sonendo currently only invests in digital display ads, with a heavy focus on Facebook. This leads me to believe it is mainly targeting Gen-Xers and millennials. Even though the company has been lowering spend this year, I predict the company will start to increase spend soon.
