Campaign Imminent: BOK Financial taps AOR after CMO hire

Just over a year after hiring CMO Sean Hampton, BOK Financial concluded a review by appointing Vladimir Jones as its AOR. The agency's first work for BOK will debut in early 2022. It will focus on getting the company in front of consumer, commercial and investment banking audiences with campaigns centered around BOK's brand purpose.

So far this year, Pathmatics reports the financial group has spent roughly $41.3k on digital ads, less than half of the roughly $101.1k it had spent by this point last year. In 2020, BOK's estimated full-year spend of $129.5k more than doubled that of $50.9k in 2019. It has earned around 5m digital impressions YTD via desktop display (49%), mobile display (42%) and desktop video (9%) ads.

I expect BOK's spend will pick back up once it debuts new work from Vladimir Jones. The company targets consumers and companies in need of financial services. As far as consumers are concerned, it seems to be primarily targeting millennials. According to Kantar data, BOK also invests in OOH and local broadcast. Sellers able to offer relevant ad space should contact.

Agency & martech readers - The company's work now seems to be tied up, but you may be able to secure project-based work down the road.
