Female Gen-Z, Millennial Digital Opps: Pravana appoints PR AOR (Score 16)


Henkel Corporation, and it offers beauty products for both salon professionals and consumers. 

According to Pathmatics, Pravana earned 46m impressions YTD through Instagram ads (60%) and Facebook ads (40%). It placed 100% of these ads directly onto instagram.com and facebook.com. It spent approximately $359.1k on digital display ads YTD, a significant increase from $41.4k spent in this channel during the same time period of 2021. Full-year spend totaled $264.8k in 2021. It did not allocate any budget toward this channel in 2020. 

Sellers-- Pravana targets female Gen-Z and millennial consumers directly as well as salon professionals. It currently operates a digital-first marketing strategy. The company has been ramping spend up for the past two years, which I expect to continue considering it just appointed a PR AOR. I predict it will stick with digital channels for now as it targets a young audience. However, I would not be surprised if it tried additional online channels down the line. Sellers should reach out to offer digital ad space.
