Millennial Media Opps: Sunkist Growers launches new campaign
Thanks to help from Sunkist Growers has launched its first national campaign in a decade. Seeking to relevantly rebrand the company to new consumers, the creative is centered around a digital video titled "We Were There," which exhibits what a vital – and often unnoticed – role citrus plays in daily life. The company has also revamped its website with a much more modern, organized look. The campaign will be placed on digital platforms.
Sunkist's top spending quarters tend to be Q1 and Q2, so set your sights there. An advantage will go to sellers with high engagement rates among millennials, especially health-focused parents, as well as foodie consumers (female skew). Pathmatics reports that Sunkist has spent $132,000 on digital display ads so far this year, after spending only $900 during the same period last year.
